The Wood Delivery...

We got our wood delivered today!

The girls were watching in awe.....

Kimberly was already thinking ahead: We're gonna have to stack all this, right?

A Trip to Groton...

Kimberly went to the Groton Dojang on Friday night to train with Mr. Tinkham and his students. At first she was a little shy but got over it quickly.

They worked on paddle drills....

Kibons, Poomse.... Mr. Tinkham also brought some boards for Kimberly to break. She chose to do a double board break with a step behind side kick. She also broke a suspended board with a spinning hook kick.... pretty cool....

How many Roundhouse Kicks can you do in one minute? Kimberly got 88.... and one minute is a long time....

Today is the day.....

Kimberly turns 10!!!

It was just after 6:30 this morning when Kimberly got to ride her new electric scooter for the first time.

Boy, you should have seen the smile on her face....

There was also a Boogie Board for the Lake....

Another "Lake" Toy - the Splash Roller, a Battleship Game, and a Rubriks Cube....

Happy Birthday, Kimberly

Kimberly celebrated her Birthday today early with her friends. We took the 6 girls and Britney to play Miniature golf. It was a lot of fun.

We went to dinner at Koto's Japanese Steak House. For some of us it was the first time there. It was a lot of fun watching the Hibachi cook show off his talents. After dinner we went back home to have cake and ice cream.

Field Trip to the Boston Aquarium

The third and fourth graders went to the Boston Aquarium today. Seaturtles, sharks, baracudas and other creatures live in the Giant Ocean Tank, which is 4-stories high. The Penguin exhibit was everybody's favorite. How fun to find "Happy Feet" and his friends!

After the Aquarium the kids got to go to the Beach to get a first hand look at what they had studied about the tide pools. They got to wade in the shallow water and actually found some crabs.
