I am a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. I have a continuing program of research (what mother doesn't?) in the laboratory (indoors) and in the field (outside). I'm working for my Masters (the whole darned family) and already have 2 credits (Kimberly & Britney) Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities (any mother care to disagree?) and I often work 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). The rewards are in satisfaction rather than just money. When I get home I usually get greeted by my lab assistants -- age 10 and 4.
I guess I am not just a mother....
Kimberly's collection of her belts shows off her hard work. The 10 color belts represent 3 years of training, practice but also fun and games.
Kimberly's Medals - updated
A big "Thank You" to our good friend Randy Clark, who handcrafted this wonderful piece of art . A piece of sheet metal, a plasma cutter, some paint and a steady hand are the key ingredients for this faboulus Medal display. Kimberly has competed in several Tournaments and Championships throughout the Northeast and already has a busy schedule for the coming months.
